The lenses feature an iris with at least nine blades, offering cinematic bokeh and distinct focus fall-off. Dual floating elements optimize close-focus performance while reducing breathing. The T*XP coating minimizes reflections and glare, enhancing contrast.
Incorporating aspherical elements to reduce chromatic aberration, the ARRI/Zeiss Master Primes deliver exceptional image quality and clean chroma-keying. The lenses maintain high resolution even at wide apertures and close focus, with image sharpness extending to the corners. Each lens is equipped with a PL mount and an integrated LDS system, allowing for seamless lens data transfer to compatible cameras. The expanded focus scale provides ample room for marks, and fluorescent engravings ensure visibility in low-light conditions. The 16mm Master Prime Lens offers a minimum focus distance of 14", weighs only 4.9 pounds, and has a compact length of 8".
