Set up your mobile workstation to smoothly move your monitor and gear around the set with the AXIS Base Station from Inovativ. The system combines the AXIS Stand, 8" heavy-duty locking wheels, WorkSurface Pro, weight hanger with 25 lb bag, Pro Monitor Mount, two Mafer clamps, and AXIS Trough.
The AXIS Stand extends to approximately 79" in height, while a VESA-compatible monitor mounted with the Pro Monitor Mount can reach up to approximately 90". The WorkSurface Pro creates a practical equipment platform, and the AXIS Trough provides additional storage beneath it. The included weight hanger and bag help improve stability when heavier equipment is installed.
Inovativ AXIS Stand
Designed for AXIS vDrop workstation accessories and professional grip equipment, the anodized aluminum AXIS Stand features three sections with a maximum height of 79" and a folded length of approximately 50.5". Dual-reinforced legs provide a stable base for studio and location workflows.
The stand supports compatible 8" caster wheels for easier movement across production floors and includes locking knobs on each section plus a Junior pin at the top.
Inovativ AXIS 8" Wheel Set with Brakes
The AXIS 8" Wheel Set includes three heavy-duty swivel casters with foot brakes for smooth movement over studio floors, cables, and uneven surfaces. Each wheel mounts to compatible 1" square AXIS grip stand legs and secures with a locking lever.
Constructed from durable aluminum, each wheel weighs approximately 6.5 lb. When installed, the system creates a footprint of approximately 37.8 x 46.4". Individual nylon storage bags and mounting hardware are included.
Inovativ AXIS Weight Hanger with 25 lb Weight Bag
The AXIS Weight Hanger mounts to compatible AXIS or American-style grip stands with 1" square legs. It provides a secure attachment point for the included 25 lb weight bag, helping improve stability and counterbalance heavier workstation configurations.
Inovativ WorkSurface Pro
The WorkSurface Pro adds an adjustable workstation platform to compatible AXIS or grip stands with a 2" diameter. It attaches using the Inovativ vDrop mount and includes side handles for height adjustment and rotation.
The platform rotates 360° and can be positioned between approximately 34" and 43" when mounted. Its carpeted top helps protect laptops and other production equipment, while an integrated cable-management opening keeps workstation wiring organized.
Two Mafer clamps are included for alternative mounting options and additional accessories. The platform also supports the separately available Top Drawer for lockable equipment storage.
Inovativ Pro Monitor Mount
The Pro Monitor Mount attaches to standard 5/8" Baby pins and supports monitors with a 100 x 100mm VESA pattern. Built from 6061 aluminum and stainless steel, it allows monitor rotation between horizontal and vertical orientations and includes a lockable tilt mechanism.
A 3/8"-16 threaded accessory point allows additional equipment such as articulating arms or Baby pin adapters to be mounted directly to the unit. Its internal rosette mechanism helps maintain the selected tilt position.
Inovativ AXIS Trough
The AXIS Trough mounts between the legs of a compatible AXIS Stand and provides convenient storage for tools, adapters, batteries, cables, and production accessories. Locking knobs secure it in position during use.
Its aluminum construction features a powder-coated finish and soft carpet lining to help reduce noise and protect equipment from scratches.
