The Teradek RT FIZ Lens Control Kit is built for professional cinema crews that need precise wireless control over focus, iris and zoom. Centered around the CTRL.5 3-axis wireless lens controller, the system gives camera assistants fast, accurate control with an intuitive touchscreen interface and upgraded operating system.
The CTRL.5 supports long-range wireless communication with compatible Teradek RT devices, reaching up to 5000 ft in suitable conditions. It also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for shorter-range operation, while the rear 5-pin USB and 4-pin AUX ports allow direct wired connections to compatible cameras, monitors and accessories.
Paired with the MDR.X 3-channel lens control receiver and the MOTR.S Max lens motor, the Teradek RT FIZ Lens Control Kit provides a complete solution for controlling cinema lenses on professional productions. The motor is supplied with a 0.8 MOD gear, making it suitable for standard cinema lens gearing, while the included mounting hardware and control cables support flexible rig integration.
The CTRL.5 controller is designed for comfortable on-set operation and includes multiple accessories for different working styles. The kit includes a monitor mount, hand strap, neck strap, thumb grip, wooden knob handle and matte screen protector, helping assistants configure the controller for handheld, mounted or mobile use.
A comprehensive collection of interchangeable marking disks is also included. These feature blank disks as well as pre-marked options for iris and different minimum-focus distances, allowing camera assistants to prepare the controller for a wide range of lenses and shooting requirements.
The Teradek RT FIZ Lens Control Kit also includes power and communication cables for integration with professional cinema systems, including D-Tap, ARRI and RT motor connections. Everything can be stored and transported in the included SKB case, making the system suitable for demanding studio, commercial and location productions.
