The Grade 1/4 strength provides a noticeable but controlled diffusion effect, making it well suited to portraits, fashion, beauty and video production. It helps soften the appearance of fine facial lines and minor skin imperfections without creating an excessively soft or washed-out image.

With approximately 84% light transmittance, the 1/4 grade produces a subtle pastel-like quality while delivering more highlight and contrast reduction than the lighter 1/8 grade and less than the stronger 1/2 version.
